Family Fishing and September Silvers

Taking advantage of a few nice Saturdays we got out on the water to catch a few Silver Salmon as a family. April caught her first fish; she was so excited even when it turned out to be a Humpy (pink salmon) which is less than desirable as far as a fish goes but a trophy to her impressionable mind. She sang and danced for around half an hour after, even going as far as to name him "waggle fish".






North loves fishing, were not sure where he got that from. If you touch "his" fishing pole he comes unglued! And as far as he's concerned they're all his.

Autumn and Cody went out last Saturday and in four hours caught 15 Huge Silvers, weighing in around 170 pounds of fish. Pretty good fishing. We have been bottling the salmon, but the way these kids inhale Salmon sandwiches we are concerned with just how long our stock pile will last.




We really are blessed to raise our kids in this beautiful part of the world. They take for granted we see whales and eagles the same way their cousins see cows and horses. They have seen and done things that many people have never and may never see in their lives. FYI whale breath is really rank!
