Day at the Park with friends

July really has been a beautiful month. One day we decided to go play at the park at the kids' elementary school. We called some friends who live close and they came to play as well.

The younger kids enjoyed playing on the slides. It is still so fun to see what it does to their hair on a sunny day.

It doesn't have quite the same effect on North.

Meanwhile, the older ones were playing with a truck that had stuffed animals in it and the hill they are not allowed to play on during school.

"...I think I don't want to catch that speeding metal truck ."

They found some empty firework tubes that they used as swords and had sword fights.
Even the little ones got into it.


At the end of the day, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the sun at the park.
